Austin emceed his fist event in 2008, combining a lifelong history of volunteer work and fundraising with training in acting and commercial speaking. As an auctioneer he has a voice and presence that will command your audiences attention, and a relentlessly positive energy that will keep them entertained and bidding. Austin’s dedication to the organization he is working for, and his night-of auctioneer skills make him a favorite among many organizations.
Bill Wixey anchors Q13 FOX News This Morning weekdays from 6-10 am. Bill is an Emmy Award-winning journalist who has worked on the air in Seattle since 1998. Having grown up in Kirkland, Bill considers it a great honor and privilege to report on the important events in his hometown. He’s a graduate of Lake Washington High School and the Edward R. Murrow School of Communication at Washington State University.
In 2003, Bill won an Emmy for outstanding work as an anchor. In 2010, Bill was honored with a second Emmy for his series, “Bill’s Journey” which documented his successful battle with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Bill was also voted “Western Washington Man of the Year” by the viewers of Evening Magazine in the annual “Best of Western Washington” contest.
Bill has reported on major stories all over the world, including the Vancouver and Beijing Olympics. He received accolades for his 2005 "Mission of Hope" documentary, in which he travelled to Sri Lanka shortly after the devastating tsunami to document the recovery efforts. Before coming to Q13 FOX, Bill was a principal anchor at Fox Sports Net, where he covered the Mariners during their amazing 116-win season of 2001. Bill also worked as a sports anchor and reporter for KIRO-TV. Bill has also worked on the air in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Fort Smith, Arkansas, and Great Falls, Montana.
Bill is happy to donate time and energy to worthy charity causes in the community. He is involved in charity ventures with the American Cancer Society, Ronald McDonald House, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, St. Jude's Hospital, Bellevue Community College, Junior Achievement and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Bill is also on the board of World Impact Network.
DJ Steve Rivera, is a multiple award-winning DJ and MC with over 20 years experience performing at all types of events. Originally hailing from New Jersey, His passion for music and DJing carried him across the country to the west coast. After brief stops in Reno and West Hollywood, he made his way to the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Now you can find him spinning events all over the Puget Sound area, including nightlife, weddings, corporate parties, and on-site events for Seattle's MOViN 92.5.
